We are the home of Sheboygan County's First Wedding Cheesecake, established in 1986. Myra's Country Cakes and Catering now has over 17 scrumptious wedding cheesecake flavors and 11 appealing regular cake flavors.

General Prices

Wedding Cake The price of a wedding cake is calculated on a serving size of 1"x2"x height of cake.

• Regular cake - $2.00/serving
• Carrot cake - $2.50/serving
• Cheesecake - $3.00/serving
• Gourmet Cheesecake - $2.75/serving (combo reg. cake and cheesecake)
• Rolled fondant icing - $1.00/serving
• Cupcakes - $1.50/serving
• Cheesecake cupcakes - $2.50/serving
• 6" individual cakes - $25/ea
• 8" individual cakes - $35/ea
• 1 layer sheet cake (regular) - $1.50/serving
• 1 layer sheet cake (cheesecake) - $2.50/serving
• 2 layer sheet cake (regular) - $2.00/serving
• 2 layer sheet cake (cheesecake) - $3.00/serving

Services - Cutting cake $ .25/serving

Deposit - to reserve the date is $50.00. This deposit will be returned to you in full, only if ALL items are returned in good condition by Monday following event. A $5.00/day fee will be added starting on Tuesday provided no previous return arrangements have been made. A $25.00 fee will be charged if we have to pick up the equipment in Sheboygan County. Outside of the county, an additional fee will be added - the same as the delivery fee.

Booking Your Wedding Cake

Next to the Bride and Groom, the cake should be the focal point of your reception. We want it to be everything you dreamed it to be. To assure that your cake is exceptional, we spend several weeks each year attending seminars and classes to learn new techniques with some of the world’s foremost sugar artists. We use only the finest ingredients and limit the amount of orders we take to assure top quality.

We recommend that you book your cake as early as possible. This guarantees you the current prices and that we will be able to do your cake. We limit our workload, so please don’t delay and find your date already filled.

Consultation

You will receive one free hour of consultation to design your cake. Any time spent after that will be $15.00/hour. At your appointment you will be able to view photos and bring in your own ideas to custom design your wedding cake. You may also sample one flavor of cake and filling. If you wish to sample more flavors or taste before your appointment- you may order a 6" single layer for $5.00.

Payment Information

At your appointment, you will be required to make a downpayment of half the cake's estimated total. This amount will not be refunded if cake is cancelled less than 3 months prior to event.

Balance is due two weeks before wedding when final count is given. No refunds will be made after this time with the exception of death in the family.

We are also able to do a wide variety of items for your showers, stags, rehearsals, gift openings, etc. We can also cater these events for you.

About Our Wedding Cakes

Our cakes are baked and frozen fresh to seal in the moisture. This process also firms up the cakes so they are less likely to crumble, ensuring a nice slice for your wedding guests.

The top tier of the wedding cake is traditionally an anniversary cake. We include a 6" regular flavor tier as our gift to the bridal couple. This tier is not calculated in the servings or the price. If you request a carrot, cheesecake, gourmet flavor, or a larger size top tier, an additional $10.00 will be charged.

Returning Equipment

A washbasket will be provided under the cake table to return all cake parts in. There will be a list, of all returnable parts in the basket. We require that ALL parts be returned by Monday following the wedding. It is a good idea to assign someone else to do this task. Your $50.00 booking fee will be refunded at this time. If we are not in the bakery, please leave basket on back porch of bakery. Your deposit will be refunded by mail. Any parts missing or broken will be charged at current market price.

If we cut your cake, we will also be responsible for taking the parts home with us and your refund will be sent to you. If you wish for us to pick the parts up at the hall, there will be a $25.00 up front fee. (This service is available in Sheboygan County only).

How Much Cake Do You Need?

There is no correct answer. The amount needed will depend on the people you invite and the time when you plan on serving the cake. Also who is cutting the cake will determine the size of the slices.

The following are general guidelines:
If you plan to serve the cake for dessert- order 100% of RSVP’s
If you plan to serve after the Grand March- order 50-75% of RSVP’s
The more flavors you order, the more cake will be eaten.
If you serve milk or coffee with the cake, more will be eaten.
If you have farmers, elderly, or children, they eat more cake.
We layer our sheet cakes and they are billed at wedding cake prices.
