In addition to elegant wedding cakes, Myra's
Country Cakes, also offers a full line of catering and banquet
services featuring all the essential elements of a fine dinner to a casual
brunch. We would be glad to take the load off of
your shoulders so you can enjoy your event. Vegetarian menus are available
upon request.
Our
custom catering menus are designed and priced specifically for each individual's
needs. We do not provide or serve alcohol for any event.
Catering Menus and Options
We offer a full line of catering and banquet services. We can custom design your menu and price for any event. If you don't see what you want on the menu, ask if we can make it. We enjoy creating menus for themed events, ie. Cuban, Italian, Irish, German, Mexican, Hawaiian, Western Hoedown, American Thanksgiving, Vegetarian, etc.
1. Ala Carte - You pick up the food at our bakery.
2. Drop Catering - We bring food to your event, cooked and ready for you to reheat. Or, we can bring you the food, hot and ready to serve. We can provide paper products. A delivery and/or pickup fee will be added if we are to transport food and equipment. A food waiver must be signed for safety issued on food temperatures. You can either choose the amounts you want of each item or we can decide for you and give you a per person quote. You may find it easiest to give us a $US dollar cost per person limit and we will design a menu around it.
3. Banquet - You have a limited selection. Additional options are available for an additional fee.
There
are two choices for a banquet. You may choose one or two meats. (A Vegetarian
menu is available upon request). All meals are served buffet style on divided plastic plates. Styrofoam cups, plastic glasses, napkins and plastic flatware are included. For china, glass and silverware, add $5 per guest. Or you can provide your own or rent them yourself. Wait staff are available to assist handicapped or elderly guests. We also come around with beverage refills if requested ahead of time.
We include one hour of serving time for each 100 guests up to 3 hours after which, an additional $100 is charged. Start time will be designated by customer. Price includes setup and cleanup. Any additional set up and cleanup will be charged accordingly (setting tables for guests or table cleanup after meal). Tablecloths provided for serving tables. Any additional tablecloths will cost $3 each for plastic and $7 each for linen. Or you can provide your own. We have found that the easiest is to work with Grand Rental Station out of Sheboygan for all your "extra" needs. (Tell Dave we sent you!) All meals include your choice of: 1 starch, 2 vegetable, 2 salads and 2 desserts (substitute additional vegetable or salad if no dessert is needed), dinner rolls, coffee, milk and water. A 5% sales tax (tax exempt option) and 15% gratuity will be added to all meals.
For your own safety, you will not be able to take home leftover food from a catered event. This is so no one becomes ill from food that is not kept at a proper temperature. We bring along extra food to avoid running out. You will be billed for final count given 5 days prior to event, plus any additional people not included in formal count.
